Dr. Maya Giannetti joined Oshetski Orthodontics in June 2025 as an associate doctor, bringing a thoughtful approach to patient care, a strong clinical background, and a passion for helping patients feel confident in their smiles.
A native of Davis, California, Dr. Giannetti earned her B.A. in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA. She completed her orthodontic residency at the University of California, San Francisco, earning both a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences. During her final year, she served as Chief Resident.
Her commitment to the profession extends beyond patient care. Dr. Giannetti has held leadership roles within the American Student Dental Association and the American Dental Association, and served as California Resident Captain for the American Association of Orthodontists’ National Advocacy Network. She is an active member of the Sacramento District Dental Society, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Working alongside Dr. Oshetski, Dr. Giannetti brings a fresh perspective and knowledge of the latest orthodontic techniques and technologies. Dr. Giannetti provides patient care and helps ensure a welcoming, personalized experience at every visit.
