It’s no secret Dr. John Oshetski loves doing what he does. The youngest of four children and the son of a dentist, he is a lifelong student in orthodontics, and enjoys incorporating what he learns into our practice. Everything Dr. Oshetski does is centered on providing the highest quality treatment for our patients and making sure they have a happy, positive orthodontic experience along the way.
Dr. Oshetski finds orthodontics to be an extremely rewarding career that provides him a wonderful opportunity to change lives in a profoundly positive and personal way, making people more beautiful than they already are. Dr. Oshetski enjoys the relationships he has with our patients and relishes following the positive changes they experience throughout the course of treatment. Dr. Oshetski is proud to work with a long standing team who always strives for high standards in caring for our patients' orthodontic needs.
Education and Continuing Education
A native of Albany, NY, Dr. Oshetski received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Buffalo, graduating cum laude, before moving across the country to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco, where he graduated at the top of his class. Following dental school, Dr. Oshetski completed an additional two years at the dental school dedicated exclusively to orthodontics, for which he received a Master of Science in Dentistry degree.

Outside the Office
Dr. Oshetski keeps a very active life when he’s not perfecting smiles at the office. This includes snow skiing, mountain biking, water skiing, and working on various projects around his home. He also really appreciates any time he gets to spend with his wife, Christina, and two children, Max and Maya. As part of his commitment to giving back to our community, Dr. Oshetski supports many of the local school sports programs, the 4-H Youth Development Organization, the Future Farmers of America, and many animal rescue groups.
